Stamp Camp

LOVE STAMP CAMP! I went this evening and learned another use for my Versamark ink pad. If you stamp on glossy paper with the Versamark and then brayer ink color over the top. The Versamark resists the ink color. I did snowflakes and made the prettiest card. Thought I would be a great technique for embellishments for the scrapbook too.

We did a project stamping on the back of a domino too. Very cute. Not sure I'd want a domino in my scrapbook, but I know some of you love those puffy albums. Just maybe. :)

Lol Lynne, I think even I'd find a domino thick in my book! I'll have to get either Kenda or Deb to explain what braying is tomorrow. Glad you had fun. How is your scraproom progressing?

The room is coming along nicely. The electrical, telephone and cable were just wired in. The windows were put in. It still looks like a plywood shell. The roof is supposed to go on any day. The roofer is waiting for 3 days of no rain in a row. He's pretty timid right now as one of his jobs recently caused water damage and $500 worth of painting had to be redone. So, if there's a cloud in the sky he's not coming. I suspect he'll do my whole roof when a "gully washer" comes through. That's just my luck.

You use a rubber brayer (looks like a mini paint roller with a rubber pad) and roll it over the ink pad then the paper, if you versamark first (on glossy)the ink resists the images you had stamped in versamark. you can also use the multicolor pads and create beatuiful background paper. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
