still having problems with getting messages :(

Every time I want to read the messages, Outlook tells me I am not subscribed to any newsgroups. So, I do a search for the group - it is always gone. I have to update the newsgroup list in order to find it again. Then I have to wait while I download all the messages again. What a pain. I wonder why I am all the sudden having this problem.

Yesterday morning every time I tried to check mine I kept coming up with the password check box. funny thing I could still get my regular e-mail - just not the newsgroup. I just left it alone and when I tried a couple of hours later it came through just fine. Sandy

A month ago I could get newsgroups, but couldn't get email. So, I went to my ISPs web site and they had an online tech support. Seems they changed the address to get mail slightly and they walked me through what all my settings should be. Then a few days ago I couldn't get newsgroups. I again went to the online tech support and they walked me through want the settings should be. You might look into contacting your tech support and see if any settings have changed.

I checked my servers tech. support but didn't find anything useful. My newsgroups are set up as instructed on the site. As ususal, I had to search again tonight for the group.
