This ever happen to you?

You wake up really early, hours before you normally get up and start working on a project in your head? I ask because this morning I woke a few minutes after 4 this morning and started working on a project for DIL. I was figuring out the size, how I wanted to decorate the outside, how many pages (I want to make a book for her to keep track of birthdays/ann. now that she has an extended family she'll need it; also an address book with current address' of Nick's family & of course room for her family & friends) how I want to divide it, what to use, ect. At 5 I got up (I was wide awake and not sleeping anyway! LOL) showered, took care of the pets, sat down and wrote down my ideas, sketched a little and now that I've checked email, RCS I'm off to start pulling stuff to make this project, after I get my coffee!!!

yes, larry once woke up laughing at me as I was doing it by flashlight because I didn't want to wake him. Granted the page was about "making faces" the lopsideness of the layout only added to the humor of the page.

Wow, that's dedication to a project right there. I have to say that has never happened to me. I have dreamed about a layout after thinking of it before going to bed, but I've never gotten up to get started on it. :D

Your project sounds very fun. Also a great idea! Good luck with it. Sounds like you are well on your way.

I have had where I have pictures that I want to scrap or a card I want to make with a certain stamp or embellishment but do good ideas come to mind and I think about ideas for days and then one night I go to sleep and bang I have a dream and there is the perfect layout or card idea. Funny how at times we sleep, eat, and breath scrapbooking.

Not only have I awakened in the night with a great way to do the layout I've been struggling over and have to go to my scraproom and execute it immediately, I have also gotten embroiled in my project and stayed up the entire night working on layout after layout as the sun comes up, the squirrels jump from tree to tree with my music playing softly in the background. I guess we are all a little crazy! Lol.

Sort of. I often wake up in the middle of the night with ideas for a layout or a card. I usually stay in bed though and work on it in the morning. It kinda freaks Steve out if I get up in the middle of the night. He always wakes up and comes looking for me.
