Lizz,
This sounds like lots of fun, count me in.

OOOH! Me me! I have wanted to try this since I read about it in CK! I have some Christmas pictures I just can't get any inspiration for, and I'd love to try something new--like a different size album or something! Let me know what to do! Caitlin in WA
I agree. Four photos is not enough. Have you decided yet if it's a one page or two page layout Lizz? My suggestion would be to send as many as you like with the understanding that not all will necessarily be used. Send the extra photos back with the completed layout. Just an idea.
I am interested, but it will depend on the timing. Please let us know details when you can. esther
I agree. Even when I get ready to do a layout. I start with ten sometimes, but end up with 4-5 that I use.
I am with the "no 3-D embellishments" I am worried about long term wear in my albums, who knows what is going to happen with them in 20 years. Even if they are acid free I am worried about pressure points on other photos.
I think I would like to do this too. Let me know the details. Soni
Do you think you could include someone in Australia? Sounds like a great idea!!! Kim, Sydney Aus
Yeah, that sounds like a good idea to me! :) Caitlin in WA
My point exactly. And sometimes I'll use a bunch of *parts* of a photo. Ex: punching the faces out in a series of photos. If there are one or two you
*absolutely* want in the lo maybe that could be specified? Just a suggestion.
Yes, I agree as long as it doesn't get *too* specific. There needs to be
*some* element of surprise. But I agree things like all archival materials, no embellishments, photo specifics can be done between partners.Ha, ha! Yup.

Jenn P. thanks for that thought and you are so right. What bothers me and I am sorry that it was not clearer, I would feel guilty NOT using embellishments. But again I am not totally turned off to RECEIVING them, as long as they are not real protruding like puufy 3d types. Those tend to push on pegaes that are otherwise pretty flat and make a ulge. Does that make sense?

Thanks Sabrina for rattling my cage! mariann bought a paper folding book here not long ago and I DID look thru it. Not much interested because mostly of the BULK or 3d size that I am concerned about in my albums. When I went to that lass that had some sort of template that was for bows that was differen that MIGHt intereset me at some point. My problem, I tend to be old fashioned or SLOW in that I get to doing somethig someway and don't wnt to quit or change UNTIL I GET bored!!! Like paying bills by CHECK, not online, not with deb or credit card. Does that make sense?

LOL Dave, Yes, I uderstand. I still do my bills by check. It sort of makes me feel as if I Really am in charge of my money! LOL I thought of you when I was at my LSS yesterday, they have the most wonderful selection of Paper1 They have some great two sided Mulberry paper and other hand made stuff. I have never seen such a great display of paper. Hugs,
Sabrina :-)
Oh Dave, teabag folding isn't bulky at all. It's so fun to do and adds an elegant touch to your lo's. If you alredy have the book give it a try! I'm not one for bulk either but I've used this.

PS: Have a safe trip to SD. Hope the fires are out and the airs cleared up by the time you get there. I had a chuckle imagining you pulling a big rig into the parking lot at an lss! LOL
I too would be interested in joining this "swap". What a neat idea!!
