vacation scrapbook

I finally finished the vacation scrapbook I made for my daughter who turned

23 today...it was supposed to be a Christmas present, but birthday present is good too!

I found a great album with a map motif and the title page is Jennifer's Travels with a map of the USA underneath that I marked with red dots for places she's stayed or visited. It's the 2nd album I've done and so I was completely happy with it, but she liked it so I'm happy about that.

I hadn't planned on doing a vacation album, but when I was sorting pictures I realized there were so many of trips that I'd just start there and it evolved into an entire album. Next I'll start something more chronological with her baby pictures, but first I have to get caught back up on the little girls albums. I have 2 grands who got me started wanting to scrap in the first place.

Thanks to all of you who helped me figure out how to organize over 25 yrs of pictures last summer and gave me the courage to start the vacation album. Later, janetlee

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

That's really great, Janetlee! I'll bet that she loved the album. The first album I ever worked on was a vacation album. I found it so much easier to scrap those pictures. It would have been even easier if I had been using a post bound album. At the time I was using CM and it gort little complicated when I realized I had forgotten a trip! Hope you can share some of you work with us soon!
