Well, almost done. I still have to do a title page. It's going to have detailed journalling which I'm still working on, and I'm not sure how I'm going to do the layout, so I thought I'd go ahead and post the rest of the book.

Your pages are great Luna. I do not think they are blah at all. I'm like you though, I don't always have tons of stuff on my pages either. I think your work turned out great. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome LOs, Luna! Very nice work! :-)

See I love your layouts they are user friendly and add to the excitment of the photographs and really make them pop.
The pages are well constructed.

Did I read an early posted started by you saying your pages were blah??? No couldn't have been! There is nothing wrong with your pages. I was going through your album and saying oh that page is my favorite no this one is my favorite no that one is. ALL of your pages of great. You have to stop being hard on yourself. You have to remember that everyone's scrapbooking style is different, I don't think no 2 are the same maybe similar but not the same.

You're so sweet! I think what's bothering me is that they're so flat. I rarely use anything other than paper and stickers. On these I used some dimensional stickers, but I really love the pages I see online that have all sorts of different textures on them, with ribbons and buttons and fibers and stuff. I just don't know how to do that without it looking like a mess.
Thank you all for all the nice comments! I do like the book, it is my style, I just get jealous of stuff I don't know how to do, lol.
Luna, Flat is actually much better for your albums over the years. When I use embellishments, I have to make sure to use spacers and watch what it on the facing pages to make sure there is no actual photo across from an embellishment that might press against or get dented. Most of the artsy ones I do are not in my special albums such as heritage or my children's chronological years. Just the travel and fun ones get the extra 'stuff.' Sandy
They should always be stored upright. It keeps the stress and weight off the photos and pages. The size of my album usually depends on the contents. I have one just for the first year or two of each child. Then the rest of their albums are just hit and miss in size. A vacation album will have all I want in that album. My Girl Scout years are in 3-ring binders and I stop when the book is full to the point where the covers are not sprung out and start on a new one. I still don't have lots of my LO's in albums yet. They are stored in acid free 12x12 boxes waiting until I get the order right to load an album. I'm such a hit and miss scrapper. I scrap what the mood dictates. I may do baby pictures for a while then do sports pages then switch to a vacation or holiday. A few years ago I did 30 years of Christmas over a three month period. I still have not done the last three years of Christmas because I'm not in the mood. Sandy
Luna your farm scrapbook is amazing. I love the way you laid out the pages and the titles are awesome.
Your scrapping style is wonderful. As with anything new, it takes some time to get the feel of using buttons and ribbon. Just play around with it until you have something you like. If it doesn't work for you, don't worry about it. The most important thing is that you like the pages that you do. Keep up the good work.
