help with bad hair day layout

I'm working on an album for my younger daughter Jennifer who I'm ashamed to say, got the short end of the stick in the picture dept. So I'm trying to make her album as special as I can with my limited skills.

Looking through the pictures there are some that always make her groan, like her little orphan Annie perm, and bedhead photos and such. So I'd like to do a "bad hair day" page...or maybe a "bad hair decade"! Naw, it wasn't that bad, but we've probably all looked back at pictures and had to say, hey it was all the style back then!

I'm just not getting the layout pictured in my head. It will probably be 2 pages 12x12, but could be just one page I suppose. I was thinking of checking the craft store for doll hair, but that's not written in stone either, I just can't decide how to use it if I did get it. Help! Later, janetlee

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Hmmm...sorry don't have any ideas for you Janet. If you get some I'd be interested as I have tons of bad hair day pictures. One of the ladies on our group, Dawn G. did a layout with pictures of her hair through the ages. It is at her website dorkdog.com under "scrapbooking" and then under "my Me pages". Very cute idea!

Janet - Have you thought of Paper dolls? I use Tracerkins by EKsuccess to make cute little "dolls". You can see them by going to

and doing a product search on "tracerkins". They have lots of hairstyles, but you could create your own wild looks to match your photos. The guide book also suggests matching the colors for the doll clothing to match those of the people in your photo. So if your daughter is wearing a pink nightgown, put a pink night gown on the paperkin.

Good luck!
