Since I'm not able to go to CKU Vancouver, I've decided I'm going to Convention that is here in Washington in the beginning of November. Is anyone going to try and make it... Caitlin... Karissa... Esther? Anyone?
It would be fun to meet if anyone attends. I notice you all meeting in FL and I'm very jealous!!!! :-)

I'm not able to go, but my mom is thinking of going by herself. She's never been to a convention, and I think it would be nice if she could meet someone there, even if its just to say hi. She doesn't have this newsgroup, but I think she's going to have Outlook Express soon, so I'll be able to show her how to get it. If you are willing to meet her let me know and I'll give you her email address. She's kind of shy, but she's lots of fun. She's got TONS of supplies, but has only done a few pages. They are some of the best pages I've ever seen, though, and I almost didn't want her to see my albums after that! Of course, I did share with her, she's one of the reasons I do scrapbooking--so she can see the parts of our lives that she has missed living so far away.

Jenn, I think my mother and I are going to go to that. Right now we are in the process of closing our store. We are going to reopen in another location and expand! I am so excited! Depending on how busy we get, I would love to attend it! I didn't go to the vancouver one because I went to the WDW one. You should really try to come over and see my store sometime if you have the chance! I would love to meet someone from the group! I will keep you posted! Karissa
That sounds great Karissa. Actually, I make quite a few trips to that side of the mountain, and come hunting season it will be more frequent. Can you send me details of your store and where I go? It'll be a wonderful excuse for DH to take me.
I hope you can make it to Convention. Keep me updated as it gets closer. I'm only about an hour away, but I think I may make reservations to stay down there (more scrapping, less driving!) lol.

I am located in Yakima WA. And actually, right now everything is 30% off! We are closing this location and will be opening to a new bigger location in mid October. Not sure where yet, still looking at locations. But we will only be open until the end of August. Exact location is 5110 Tieton Drive at the Glenwood Square shopping center. It is a renovated old fruite warehouse. Hope to see some of you there! Karissa
