What was your BEST scrapbook purchase ever?

Jan 15, 2005 45 Replies

Okay, after much thought and looking over of all my supplies I finally decided what my BEST scrapbook purchase ever is..........my HP photo printer. I bought it several years ago. I did allot of research before the purchase as I knew it would be an expensive investment for me. I have been happy

What's this about Dave building and delivering paper cabinets?!?!?!?!?!

and of course, M-C waited with great excitement for Dave to arrive with her cabinet!!!

Gee Dave this sounds like an exciting business venture for you! Just think you could build and deliver paper cabinets all over the country. :-)

Katrina, The cutterpede you mentioned, is it the light/sea greenish 12 inch cutter, similar to the 12 inch fiskars? It cuts straight for you? I saw it in AC Moore today and wondered if it was better...My fiskars portable trimmer can be frustrating at times. Trying to decide if I want to spend the 23 bucks when I already have a trimmer. :)

Digital camera Epson Printer CM - Titletopia CM - Multi purpose tool My 12 inch fiskars portable trimmer - i use it constantly but am looking for one that cuts straighter. SU stamps Tombo (sp) adhesive

Actually I could go on - I love all my stuff!!!

I hope that you and Katrina won't mind if I also answer you. I hated the small fiskar trimmer. I do however like their large one. I still have the small one and some people do better than others with it. But the cutterpede is a lot better at least for me. I guess I just puch a little to one side when I cut and the fiskar will give and not cut strait. I also have the CM personal cutter and used that for along time, but having something, light, that will cut large paper and that I can change the blades for makes investing in the cutterpede well worth it.

And so did Kenda....good thing I wasn't holding my breath! I might be blue by now! LOL Well Dave? Where are our paper cabinets??? hmmmmmm?????????

WHO said I was building and delivering them?? Humm had to be that Jessie gal that started it!!!

Well maybe there IS a market out there? Guess I need to invest in a couple tools that I need to make the job easier and better.

Then I have the PROBLEM of WHICH direction in the country to go to FIRST? Humm, auction timeand may the highest bidder win - LOL!

But in all honesty, as they say, everyone has their CHANCE to make a million, here is SOMEONE'S!!! So to start I would need some CHEAP help (ers)!!!

So anyhow guess I need to build meself a bigger or better one anyhow - LOL!

nada for 05 (unless adding to or redoing some pages couns!)

OKC Dave

And while you're in Little Rock delivering MC's & Kenda's, you might as well just make a stop over to my house and deliver mine, too! LOL

Now Dave....you know you're headed to South Carolina first. I mean since I'm at the top of the list and all. I'll even volunteer myself as your assistant to help with everybody else's paper cabinets. And I have the space to work in, and free room and board for the duration......not to mention a couple of paid trips to my favorite scrap related locations, and a tour of Charleston. So what are ya waiting fer?

Sheesh girl! You sure up the ante!!! Well Dave, when you and Jessie come to your second stop, North Little Rock, AR, you can have the guest suite! And of course you can finally get into the Scraproom! So no hotel cost when you're here. Jessie I'm afraid will have to sleep on the hide-a-bed in the living room. but that can be made rather private since it has doors!

So Dave, what is your delivery schedule? While you're here, you can also deliver Kenda and Deb'!
