Katrina, do you by any chance have a brand name on that reverse tweezer? Haven't seen that yet and it sounds like something i could use :)

Wow, what a great list of cool toys this thread includes! It's gonna take me years just to try everything out. Thanks for all the great suggestions. It's clear from the similarities in the lists that there are some definite first choices for certain tasks. For example, most people seem to have the Fiskars 12" paper trimmer and the Sizzix die cutter, neither of which I've ever tried. Is the Fiskars trimmer pretty accurate and sturdy?

Thanks, Noah

Thanks for the wonderful idea, Katrina! I never thought of using my reverse tweezers to hold paper. But I'll be using them from now on! Judy, my tweezers are Making Memories brand that I got from Michael's, for about $7, and I have seen several other brands in Michael's and other places. Sometimes they are found in the beads or sewing sections of the store.

One of my favorite tools not listed here are gel pens. My favorite brand is Glaze, which can give a wonderful raised lettering look, or a stained glass look. I've used them with translucent glitter (a trick I learned from Gary at Rubberstamp Fantasy (LSS)). They look great with rubber stamps on cards and layouts, and are now available in 2 pen packages.

My favorite 5 tools are:

1.All in one printer (scaner, copier, fax)
  1. Sizzix machine and dies
  2. Rubber stamps
  3. Eyelets and Eyelet setter
  4. Paper cutter

I recently placed an order for eyelets and I'm hooked. I want more eyelets. I'm addicted to eyelets now.

Ok, so I'm running late on posts...oops! LOL Great thread though, so I HAVE to add my top 5.

  1. Fiskars 12" paper cutter
  2. Rubber stamps
  3. Stamp pads
  4. crafting tool kit with tweezers, eyelet tools, paper piecing tool, & needles
  5. adhesives

and of course...the ultimate item I couldn't live without...PAPER! LOL

Judy, I have two of the tweezers. The one I use is by Making Memories. The one that's still in the box is by Cutterbee. I bought the latter one because it was on clearance at Joanns. Upon further investigation at other stores their clearance price turned out to be no cheaper than everyone elses regular price. Go figure.
