When we bought the house many years ago, 40 to be exact, we were looking for something very low key. Didn't want anything where the kids, and now the grand kids ,couldn't have fun, very little work for mom and dad. It was never meant to be more than a place where we could all go, relax and enjoy the beach. There are so many big houses out there now, I can't see where it can be much fun to have a place that requires all kinds of upkeep. Juno
