Maybe some of the Ren Fair people can help me. I love Eowyn's gowns in the movie, "The Two Towers." Could anyone direct me to patterns that best approximate that look?

To be honest, ANY princess dress pattern could be altered to look as like her dresses as you liked - all it would take would be to make sure the top fitted, the skirt was long and full, and you had a sleeve pattern that was fitted at the armskye (rather than puffed or gathered over the sleeve cap). All the rest are relatively easy to alter. if you'd like to try, and want guidance, just shout.

Thank you, Kate and Cathy! It's just wishful thinking, still, but that's something to go on, and I do think they're lovely. I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one watching the costumes as well as the movie.
