Great Coat Pattern request!

Feb 02, 2004 6 Replies

I'm looking for a pattern from which to make a double breasted coachman's great coat, with stand and fall collar and 1-3 capes, modern or historical. This is for a customer who drives horse drawn coaches and heresies for weddings and funerals.

The customer is female, so small men's sizes and boy's sizes would be an advantage. All help gratefully received!

I've looked at that one, but I really need it to be double breasted, more fitted, and have the fall collar. I may end up cobbling something together out of several patterns, but would rather not it I can avoid it!

Let's get a bit of iconoclasm in there too, for good measure! Dratted sperling chukker! It said hearses when it left here!

Not sure exactly what you need, but have a look at these

This is close to the type of thing I'm looking at, but doesn't come in smaller sizes, which may or may not be a problem... One can only re-size successfully so far!

This is another good one. I need to find a vendor that takes Visa!

Ta, ever so! Gives me something to bookmark in case the job happens!
