Interesting blog

I love blogs of people who sew and this lady, who is not a tiny or sylphlike woman, makes great retro fashions that really suit her:

Thanks for putting up the link to the blog. Nice to see clothes that are sewn by someone who is not a tiny little waif. My sewing has been put on hold for awhile. I'm having a lot of back problems and find it difficult to do much. I'm working on getting better. Juno

:-)) I thought so too. For a very big bosomed lady, she looks amazingly good in the clothes she makes - She made me think of 'Rosie the Rivetter' all dolled up for a night on the town.

:-(( Well take care and good luck with the recovery. I'm trying to get over a bad cold/flu and so am spending lots of time doing sedentary things.

She has a great sense of self. She knows what looks good, what she likes and how to put it all together. She does remind meas Rosie, too. She looks like she'd be a fun person to know. .

Take care of the cold. The back is slow, but getting there, that or I'm getting so used to hurting I don't notice it as much. ;)

:-)) I see that we both thought the same things about her. I sometimes wish I could be somewhat more bothered with how I look. Then I review my real (as opposed to my fantasy) lifestyle and go back to my normal old ways.

Ouch! Having survived a number of rather nasty cancers that could have taken me out, I do know what you mean about that sort of pain. thankfully I got over my pain but backs can be super nasty things. All the best with it.

Wow, that gal was really busy! I wonder how long it took her to make all those things?

Oh yes, she looks really great in that vintage patterned stuff. But then, she has the right proportions. Big bosom and hips is not so much a problem with that (or any other kind of pattern) as a large belly. Those vintage patterns are made for womanly charms in abundance; in my (potbelly) case there's only circus tents. But she did a great job, indeed, especially with the creative selection of fabric. ;-)

Thank you for the other links as well. I opened my own Pinterest account immediately; it's just fascinating.

Oh dear, yes, get well and stay well, all of you!

U.

Thanks for the link - she has more energy than I do, that's for sure! It's been taking me forever to get anything done lately.

She sure does have a tummy. But I suspect that large bust helps a bit to disguise it.

Those vintage

Enjoy!
