Hi - I have a Montgomery Ward Model UHT J1267 sewing machine. I can't get the needle to go up and down. It partially moves, but won't come up out of the bobbin area. Also, I don't have a manual to refer to. Any advice to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated.
My best guess is the machine is either frozen from lack of lubrication or from the lubricants thickening, and in either case will need a really good cleaning and re-lubing.
