So I have this tendency to dress up my sousaphone and take it out to special events.
Tulip Time really needs to enjoy the spectacle of myself in some artsy tulip outfit (those are ready to go!) and my heavy metal horn.
I usually cut a large flat circle (30" with turn-under), elasticize the edge, and then decorate it. Circles can be gauze, lace, tulle, or anything else that does not block the hot air.
Not wanting to slap a mess of silk tulips on it, I am looking for ideas. I've seen huge (non-tulip) silk flowers and am thinking about that. TIA!
