My wedding is Oct 15, I found a dress I adore and I've done a little sewing before (years before) and apparently I don't have time to order this and have it custom made (since I never received a reply to my email to the site owner).. so my idea is to sew it myself.. My question is do any of you know a pattern like this? I found a couple simplicity ones that I'd have to make part of one and part of another to come up with something like this gown, but then the other issue I'm having is my size, they aren't in my size :( I'm happy with my size for the most part so I'm not going on a crash diet to try to get the sizes simplicity has so another question is how to I adjust the pattern to my size (add an inch per size for the pattern or something like that?) I'm attaching links to two pics of this gown also. Thanks!
opinion?

If you had chosen a very simple design, I'd say go for it, but this will be a fairly skills-intensive project.
NAYY,
Beverly has the right idea. This is a complicated dress that will be a challenge for a professional, and it needs to fit properly no matter what size. You might try making it in a cheap fabric, cutting the pieces out very big, basting it together for fitting, then sewing on your basted seams, if you want to try, then evaluate. This is not a beginner or easy project. But you might learn a lot real fast! Good luck. Kris
