Sharon's memory quilt

Ok, I am SUPPOSED to be working like a madwoman on the kilt for DSIL. But when a special someone "here" asks for my help, I jump at the chance:

That is a wonderful design, Beverly. You are truly "a one of a kind" friend. I am certain Sharon appreciates your help and I know I'm thankful for the help you've given me. Emily

Didn't she do a marvelous job? I was so very excited about it. Keep in mind she not only digitized the logo for me, she spent a whole heap of time on the phone with me coaching me through translating it for my machine.

I can't possibly express how much I appreciate Beverly doing all that for me. We're all pretty lucky to have her aren't we? :) Sharon

Thank you again so very much!!!! It's perfect. Tomorrow, I plan on putting that side of the quilt together. The shirts for the other side are interfaced and cut almost to size. With both, I thought it best to cut them slightly larger than I really want them then trim if needed. I'm really getting excited about how the whole thing is coming together.

When I told my neighbor I had a friend who was helping me with the embroidery, he was amazed. I know I can say "thank you!!" for him too. He was really touched that you would go to all that trouble.

If I was closer, I'd come help you fold and press. ;) (or at the very least take Ming for a W-A-L-K while you worked. Some words we really shouldn't say outloud y'know. lol) Sharon

You're welcome, and Sharon is too.

I was fighting starting the kilt, I NEEDED an excuse to do something (ANYTHING) else. Now I'm ready to tackle it. I did all the measuring, chalked the lines, and basted the top apron tonight. Tomorrow the pleats! :-)

That was the hard part! ;-} I'm just very glad we were able to work it out.

Thanks!

You are so welcome, it was my pleasure.

I am looking forward to seeing it all pieced together, please share pics.

I have been in his situation, my heart goes out to him.

Ooooooh, a kilting party, sounds like fun!

He doesn't jump up and down at "walk", but ask him if he wants "to go for a RIDE IN THE CAR???" and he's at the garage door in a flash. :-)
