What I did for fins was easy peasy! The fabric the fins are madefrom is a stretchy, lame-ish, stuff. It is a 4 way stretch. The sleevesare simple flounces with rolled hems. The pants, I just made a righttriangle with the top point lopped off, for ease of sewing allowance. lolI opened the outseam on the gauchos (gauchos and t-shirts were purchased;the director wanted to use "normal" clothes and add to them) and put those"fins" in there. The whole thought was the added pieces would float aroundas the girls moved. Sort of like fish fins under water. ;) Same thingcould be done on a smaller scale (pardon the pun) for little children.(Oh, and the letters on the chests of the girls are there because they wereSuper Fish.)

For the snakes, how 'bout just a tube of fabric? I'm thinking of the infant gowns with elastic at the hem. If you did something like that, so they could get their feet out, then maybe just a tube, without sleeves, and maybe a hood on the top? If you could find some neon green swimsuit fabric, that would be over the top! ;) The kids would love being a bright green snake more than a boring brown one. Dunno if that would work or not, just the first idea into my sleepy brain. Thunderstorm woke me (via my dog) at 4:30 AM. I'm getting the coffee into the brain as quick as I can. lol

Might be some sort of recent theatrical release out where one could get more ideas about what snakes look like. Esp big bad ugggly poisonous ones.

We're waiting for the sequel. Snakes Waiting for Luggage.

Good grief girly girl!!! I need a nap just reading all that.

Glad you liked the fishes. :) They were a blast to make. Wish we were closer geographically, I'd come dive in and help with the critters. Good luck getting it all done!! (will drink a glass of wine for you this evening since you don't have time to do it yourself. lol)

Take care of you too in all that mess!!!

The snakes sound absolutely perfect!!! Get pictures if you can, I'd love to see them. Vile lycra and all. lol Sometimes that's the absolute best fabric around. lol

Good job! Have fun with the super heros. You might want to look at
