I took the swearing out! We were spitting teeth, but both of us remained perfectly calm and polite throughout. You could tell we were dischuffed t'knickers (to quote Mike Harding) by the steel and ice in our voices!
Not Merlot (sadly it ties my insides in knots!), but a nice cool glass of dry white muscadet!
