Ed Moulthrop

Would just like to say something about Ed Moulthrops passing. Six or seven years ago I was on holiday staying with friends in Atlanta, and I attended the Atlanta woodturners display off work. Whilst looking around my wife and myself were introduced to a very tall gentleman who said his name was Ed Moulthrop, and having heard our accents asked me if I was a woodturner and if so would we care to visit his studio. The next day we turned up at his house with our host Judy Sceats and were met buy Ed and his wife and what a memorable three hours we had., he showed us around his house and workshop and told us his life history. Considering we were complete strangers who had met the day before what a marvellous couple they were. Ed was a wonderful craftsman, a gentleman , and a gentle man.
