when i tell people that i work with wood and mention wood turning they always grab onto that and in their mind they just think woodturner
so whenever they encounter something about turning they send me the link
i say gee thanks
sometimes i mention that there are millions of turners and send them a link to a favorite turner or a picture of one of mine
some of the links they send are interesting but only in that the turners have been given some publicity but when i look at their work it is just not very interesting and sometimes not even really very good but they get the notoriety anyway
