I just had a great weekend. Saturday I got to perform the wedding ceremony for my son and his bride, one of the perks of being a minister. Two days before I had gone to Wolfville to get my mom to drive her to the ceremony (a bit of a long story) and dropped in at the annual Baptist Convention to say hello to some old friends. One of those old friends had just cut up an apple tree at the home of another old friend. Now I have about eight pieces of apple ranging from 4 to 15 inches in diameter and about 15" long. Life is good.
