Lignum Vitae Source

There was some discussion, a couple of days ago, about lignum vitae and, if any of you have been searching and unable to find any at a decent price, drop in and see the guys at Curtis Lumber. They have a company page, which covers the whole home improvement gamut, at

formatting link
but the hardwood department has its own page at
formatting link
which is, of course, linked to the main page, under the "Curious Woods" link.

You will not see lignum vitae listed on the page, because it is a new product for them and they haven't had a chance to get the web page updated, but they _do_ have it, in 4/4 stock (I _think_) and in 3x3x12 turning squares (definitely). Just use the "contact us" link and Dave will get right back to you and give you pricing and shipping information.

I don't work there or anything, I'm just a satisfied customer, and I've had a long, satisfying relationship with this great bunch of guys (and gals). They have a great selection of domestic and exotic hardwoods, and are constantly increasing their inventory, and getting the new stuff on their page as quickly as they can.

Thank you Chuck, seriously. But you gotta understand that LV is REALLY expensive. I have Soboba woods locally, he sells it for $10 a pound, and it doesn't take much to weigh that much.
