See if you can get further than this guy.
A general rule of thumb here is don't feed the trolls or the spammers. Now if you are so bored you are considering ending all, then go ahead! Do whatever it takes to lift the boredom from your head. I always maintained that them's what's bored should look to see who's boring them. Unless you are clinically bored, you should be able to think of at least ten fun things to do. First one would be make a survey of Victoria and see if you can find your bike! Secondly, tell your folks you love 'em. Thirdly, go help someone or some organization. I have more, but I would think this should get you started. Failing all else, go turn a chunk of wood! *G*

P.S. Do you think boredom attracts that Nigerian spam?
I shall try very hard, now to choose which one to try. the only down side is that I will lose the use of this email afterwards(I intend to delete it afterwards to avoid annoyances:) know of any sites that would remail so as to keep the message hidden.? in article R_2Pb.1407$ snipped-for-privacy@nwrddc02.gnilink.net, Mark Jerde at snipped-for-privacy@verizon.no.spam.net wrote on 1/19/04 9:27 PM:
You think you're getting piles now? If you reply you'll validate your e-mail addy. That will be passed on to a whole bunch of jerks. Don't EVER reply to the BS on the web or the net, set a filter to winnow it out and go about your business. Dave in Fairfax
Ignore it, delete it, forget it was there. Response confirms your email and increases the quantity of spam.
If you're bored, go join a Rover Crew. There should be one near you, and you're the right age to enjoy it.

Well, I was bored one evening and I did answer one. Told him/her I was very interested in his offer, and would gladly take him up on the offer. I also ask that he put half a mil in my paypal account just to "show" good fate on his part.
Still waiting for his response.

problem one, they already know the adress is active, a lot of those messages include images and when your computer asks to download them, it lets them know. second, cant filter it because they keep changing everything in the message, filters only last for a day or 2.

Solution - set your email program to read mail only in plain text, not HTML. Then the images never get asked for. If you get a message that has an image attached (from a friend) it won't be affected (you will still be able to see it and save the image if you want to). It only stops images embedded in HTML and your friends aren't going to be sending that.

You're using the wrong filtering method. Making rules in your email program won't work. The most effective spam filter I've come across is K9. It is freeware but is better than any professional spam filter I've examined or read about (and I do computer opsys maint & app programming for a living). The URL address is
