supplying woodturners

I am in the landscape business and I turn as a hobby. My work often requires I remove trees shrubs etc and for years have collected and supply to local crafts people as I collect much more than I could ever personaly use. Lately the interest seems to go to the weak and the freek. Wood I thought was interesting but unusable 10 years ago is now in demand. Wormy, heavily spalted, knot holes etc the uglyer the better I love to collect and can find just about anything given time here in East central INdiana or in New Hampshire our other home question is we want to please our long term and new coustomers but how do we know when its too far gone, there is no grade policy in this business but should be and should we stabelize with penicryl or bug spray something?? Help us help you please
