Woodturning on 9/11

The TV networks have all agreed to ignore the anniversary of the cowardly attack of 9/11/01. As I turn, on 9/11, I will remember. In fact I shall never forget, or forgive.

Hi Dave,

I was just watching, on all the cable news networks, the ceremonies in NYC, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere, as well as the first footage I've seen in a long time of the events of 9/11/2001.

I will not forget either.

You should at least consider forgiving. This does not mean we should not pursue the enemy where he lives as we do have a right to defend ourselves from these kinds of attacks.

Well, If a skunk gets in the hen house and kills your chickens, you can forgive him, offer your hand in friendship and smile. Then at the first opportunity he will come back and kill more chickens.

On to woodturning. Dave

There are better ways of revenge than not forgiving. Find out about a soldier in your neighborhood. Go to combat gear store, buy some premium equipment and send him as a gift. Or make the coolest pen or knife your skill can produce and send him. This sort of attention is a huge morale boost. Rather than making enemy smile as we weep for our dead make our soldiers smile as they nail the f****** b*****s. (I apologize to all illegitimate children engaged in copulative activity for this unfair comparison.)
