Hi all, I've a new interest right now. My DSis teaches Polynesian Dancing for the last 20 years. Well in Dec she taught me a dance, and in Feb, she taught me another one! She was just here overnight and I've learned the first verse of an advanced one. Whew is that one hard! I will eventually learn 4 verses to this song. But I'm having a ball.( But I'm still working on my sock. There it's back on subject. LOL)
Most of the Polynesian Dancers that I know do not wear socks. So, no worries mate!

Is it hard to learn? I've thought of learning how to do belly dancing in the past, because it looks like a lot of fun.

It begins hard, but the more you do it, the easier it gets. Like anything else, I guess. Right now, I am finding the figure eights (done with each hip individually) the most challenging.
