ALL CANADIANS!!!

Not fun, is it? And this is not saying that we wanted Martin again either. NO matter which way it went, I was bound to be disappointed today. Sigh!

Oh hard luck, Darlene, I was hoping that this visit would give you positive answers. Maybe things will progress back to normal between now and your next appointment. Love & higs Christine (who's finding it difficult to knit with fingers crossed for your improvement!!)

Thanks for the crossed fingers.

I wake up each morning hoping to have a bit of an improvement and know that it just may take the 12 weeks for it to go away. Thank goodness DH has been very supportive through all of this as I have been using his shoulder quite often to help me deal with this.

I know it's something that I could learn to live with but it's something that I really don't want to have to learn to live with. My thumb does get colder a lot faster than the rest of the hand as well so with this wonderful Canadian weather that doesn't help.

I wll keep everyone posted on the progress of the thumb.

Thanks Katherine

I keep praying that the damage isn't permanent and really hope that when I go back to the surgeon I won't have the numbness any longer.

My good days and bad days also effect work as it's hard to type or write somedays.

Yes that is what it looks like, however the Bloc lost seats as well. Lets hope they work together, maybe they will make a good team. (dreaming...LOL)

Lets see, Harper does not have a lot of space to manouver in, since all the big cities are still liberal seats.....

Politics and knitting,....a big roar,.... and there rolls another head. LOL

Funny enough the block has somethime good social ideas as well, so maybe Harper will not do all that well, and if he does not, he will have a very hard time the second time around. Canadians are middle of the road voters, and we get very uncomfortable with either way out left or way out right of the middle ideas. Hang on the your hat, and get the knitting needles out, I am going for practising a creative roar when the heads start rolling

Els PS we did get our candidate in, in our riding

I take it that you have A Tale of Two Cities?

When you come up with one, share it. In another ng, we say: "à la lanterne!"

I'm so glad the Bloc lost seats, even if it's to the Conservatives (Reform).... the Bloc should not be recognized as a party - they're all traitors to the country of Canada.

Well Katherine, when you kids in class misbehave, or when my kids came home with a whine and cry about unfairness. We would both have stepped in and told them to smarten up and work the problems out. Here are 4 grown men, that do nothing but bitch and bite and be extremely rude. All that talent gone to waste, if they just had worked together, things would be close to perfect in our country, right......LOL

Dreaming again.

You will hear it all the way in Labarador...for sure

Have you got a year, Shelagh? He is arrogant AND ignorant. He is not nice to people unless he wants something. And he was like this BEFORE he was involved in politics.

I agree, Shelagh. I cannot understand how they are even permitted to be involved in a federal election.

We should teach them to knit!

Shelagh, I am not so sure about that, some of the Bloc ideas are socialistic ones that I like, also we do not want Quebec to leave, so it is maybe better to have it this way than a seperate Quebec. We would need passports to go and see our Katherine and Michelle, on the east side of the country....LOL

I heard during all the discussions and endless talks about this election that Frank McKenna, is in the running for a new Liberal leader. He has sent his letter of resignation to Harper today.
