Another project finished

Hi all,

Well, I'm quite chuffed with my last wee work (if I do say so myself). I had a go at dyeing (food colouring) and made a self striping single that I plyed with a natural cream. I was going for a random look for a wee cardy for a friends new baby - pleasingly random is quite hard to achieve, but I guess it looks okay:

had only just enough yarn - about 40cm left when done. The last bitwas a little fraught as I wondered if I had enough and what I would doif I didn't!

I've been there, didn't know whether to knit quickly to finish before it ran out or to knit slowly to make it last ...

I love the little sweater! Is food coloring kind to the tender baby skin? I bet it is! Madelaine
