What'd I miss? I haven't been well, so I've been skipping a lot of messages.

Here it is, Gem:
Most of us knit for fun, so let us knit really nice stuff. And, let's not tear our wrists up doing it.
Aaron
which was a response to my original post of:
Sometimes, I go off the deep end in technical detail that contervails the teachings of modern books on knitting. That comes pretty close to being the definition of a "troll." I really am going to move most of that stuff to a blog. Such material may be of interest to some members of this NG but it is not really in the style of RCTY.
I know that some people in RCTY enjoy some of my posts, but, all in all, I would not have been too surprised or too offended if this some in this group had thought of me as a troll. Sometimes I would post in excitment, and later think,"Gee, that looks like a troll." However, it is not, and has never been my intent to be a troll.
I really respect the experiece of this group. And, I must thank you again for the help that you have provided over that last 3 years.
Oh, and I have discovered a new variable in the effort-to-knit that affects stress on our wrists. Stay tuned. for the next chapter in Ergonomic Knitting!

Aaron, I, for one, adore your technical writings, but DEMAND (well, request is a much nicer word) that IF you stop posting them here, that you give me/us the link to said blog, okay?? HUGS, Noreen
Hey Noreen, you are one of the folks that really helped me when I was going so slow. I just have not decided where I am going to put the blog. I may even try to get you to help me game the system.
Be glad to, Aaron! And, you can ALWAYS email me offlist, anytime! Noreen
Okay, thank you, Noreen! See, I did see the word "troll" in the subject line and just skipped over it as I wasn't up to reading every message posted.

Aaron, I, too adore your posts. I'm still quite a newbie when it comes to the technical side of knitting, but I analyze everything I do, so your posts are some of my favorite!
If you can come up with a solution for the "tennis elbow" syndrome I get when I knit continental style for hours on end, it'd be appreciated! ;-) I can't wear a brace, as they cut off my circulation or fall off; I have weirdly-sized elbows, apparently!

Hi Aaron,
I too love reading your posts so please don't stop posting here. I can't wait to see what you come up with for the wrist. I'll be waiting.
Hugs,
Nora
Aaron,
I'm another lover of your posts! I can't imagine how anyone could consider them trolling - they are all on topic and even if they weren't, you are a member of this community (which has proven to be very tolerant of OT posts from community members in the past! LOL!). I have to say that even though I don't ever intend to make my own knitting needles or knit a gansey I have still enjoyed reading about your experiences with such and I hope you will continue sharing with us! I love living vicariously through your posts.

PS Just read your first blog entry. I don't have a blogger account so couldn't leave a comment but I just wanted to say I loved your story about how you got into knitting again! Funny how these little things can have such an impact on our lives.

Laura, getting a blogger account doesn't mean you have to get a blog, its an ID, like yahoo id's, etc. BUT, if you'd REALLY like to leave Aaron a comment, email me offlist, and I'll 'lend' you MY ID! Hugs, Noreen
Thanks Noreen! I tend not to comment much in blogs but I will keep your very kind offer in mind should I need to in the future :)
