I have mailed the May squares this afternoon. Since I added something that is larger than the 6x6 it had to be mailed as a small packet. This means that it will take about 2 months to arrive. They send it by train to Halifax, and from there it goes on a boat to Norway and then again by train or maybe truck to you Aud. The difference in price was so great that I had little choice. However they will arrive....as very well traveled pieces of knitting..LOL

Els, are you sure they aren't travelling by dog-sled here in Canada... and then by reindeer express when they reach Norway? You know what's sad (not really, but definitely very odd)? The parcel would likely get there faster if it did go by dog-sled and reindeer, rather than by mail. LOL

Els, you are a great girl!!! ;-))) Yes, the price of post is very high, I have experienced that when a sending "cross the weight border", it suddenly can be VERY expensive! Therefore you should not send anything but squares to me! ..but I cannot deny that I got very curious... :-))) AUD ;-))
The time it takes, I would not be surpriced at all that indeed dog-sleds and reindeer exspress are involved. Maybe it would get there faster if I mailed it out via China....or Russia, LOL

Ahhh I have you wondering now. Whatever it is that I added, it was a sale item, and it has to do with knitting. I bought several at the time, and you are the last person to get one. Not only does it has to do with knitting, but the passing of time as well.....There you go.....Now just to find out what it is....LOL

There you go.... across Alaska, and then on to Siberia and they could use their dog-sleds (they *must* have them with all the snow they have, right?), and across there to Norway. That sounds like a shorter route. ;o)
