Yes, please tell Aunty O that we wish her a speedy recovery too......

I certainly will. I will write down all the good wishes and then I will read them all out to her.
LOL I get asked this one a lot. :-)
The quote "I wear the cheese. It does not wear me" is taken from an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer called "Restless". In it Buffy and her friends are asleep while a demon attempts to kill them in their dreams. Needless to say they all survive, but each one dreams of the same odd little man who tells them something about cheese. In one sequence he has a number of Kraft cheese slices on his head and he tells them "I wear the cheese. It does not wear me."
Each of his sayings seems to be having a bit of fun with a famous film. In this case is is the scene from The Man in the Iron Mask, where Leonardo diCaprio says "I wear the mask. It does not wear me."
As I like cheese very much, this seemed to be an ideal signature for me - and people *always* ask me about it! :-)
Well, they've obviously got good taste.
Marie is a brave soul. I wondered about that quote in your signature, but considering what a silly you are, I was a *little* nervous to ask. LOL
Peace! Gemini
*strutt*

LOL Not to mention modest! ;o)

Oh Lord! It's hard to be humble. When you're perfect in every way!!!!
HAHAHA I used to love that song... it reminded me of a few people I know... and now, someone new who I am getting to know gradually on here. I wonder who? *ahem* ;o)

Marie is a brave soul? No, Marie is a redhead LOL. Marie and the cats who still like cheese a lot, especially brie, gruyere and smoked gouda mmmmmmm
Ahh, so being a redhead makes you plow forward into territories that most people think twice about. ;o) My one sister is a redhead... I ended up turning reddish (not by choice, my hair just got darker once I hit my 20's and there was more red in it than before)... but I went back to my *natural* {ahem} blonde state that I had been until my twenties came along. Hey, at least then I have an excuse when I goof up and/or have silly moments, right? LOL
OooOoooh, I love Gouda!!! And a couple of weeks ago Matthew's best friend took us for lunch at a restaurant by the bay in the nearby city (where he lives) and I had Baked Brie with slices of apple, and something that looked like small Melba Toast to spread the cheese on. It was soooooo yummy... but my stomach decided that it was a bit too rich for me afterward, so it looks like I found something else that I can't eat... at least not quite so much of it anyway. :o/
Oh, and I also like Marbled cheese. ;o)
Peace! Gemini
My best wishes to Ophelia - for a good and speedy recovery
