Calling all ewe sheep!

Sorry, I don't have anywhere to post them, and wouldn't know how; this family is not into blogging etc. Also, ds is big on internet security, so he probably wouldn't allow it. Actually, he looks like any other newborn, perhaps slightly less "squashed" than some, and has a full head of dark hair. Of course, that may change, who knows? His father is blond and mother is brunette, so it could go either way, especially as his big sister (22 mos.) is a blonde. DH and I may be able to go out there to see them around October, but not before.

Hello Ray great to hear from you, I am sure that you are a busy mother, and a tired one. The first little while when the baby does not sleep through the night it can be very tiring and draining. I promise that at one point that will stop, just when you think that there is no end to those every four hour feedings. Take time out for your self, and give your mother a dusting cloth, or tea towel....that will keep her busy.

LOL, very funny. Better Katherine, than going out with your own Brother and his wife, like I did yesterday, with a promise to treat them for lunch. With horror you find that you did not bring your wallet when it is time to pay the bill. Worse, you have no clue why your wallet is not in your purse.... After a while a realized I had changed purses, when I hike into Mill Bay. Sweet Freda, loaned me the money I needed to get through the day. I think I really had lost my mind....LOL

In Italy, dialup accounts are free so you don't need a credit card. (The ISP gets paid by a percentage of the cost of the phone call, which is not free.) However, their English was too good to be coming from 10-12 year-old Italians. Maybe they opened Italian accounts precisely because they are free, although it seems improbable to me that a juvenile nonItalian would be able to do that either. Maybe there is a web site that explains to juvenile delinquents how to open and use an Italian dialup internet account. Then, did they make international phone calls to use the accounts?

All in all, something is fishy. Their syntax, at least the few that I read, was perfectly American.

Too bad you have to wait so long! We will be seeing Kaegan, Jesika, and Gaetan this summer, and I can't wait.

I thought so too. In fact, I thought it was unusual because most of the spammers/trolls I've seen on usenet, whatever their origin, have the most abominable spelling, grammar and punctuation. I doubt these were 10 or 12 year olds. We can get free internet accounts easily here as well. Yahoo and google and a lot of others offer free email access, there are free newsgroup services, and they could have made these posts from somewhere like a library, a Kinko's or an internet cafe where it is either free or very inexpensive.

The preoccupation with sex is teen-age boy stuff, and the post to which you refer. Google archives date back several years, so it would be easy to locate post dating back a couple years. The ethnic slur made against you would have been historically impossible unless you are almost 80. VE Day was May 8th 1945, and children do not knowingly commit the type of things of which you were accused. DA

There are Americans living in Gaeta, and Naples. And yes, there are websites telling you how to do anything and everything. Unless the Italian servers strip all header info to make it appear that post are originating from server xyz, then that is the server where the post originated. DA
