just skipped all my posts

Howdy from KY,

I have not been in the mood to read or email or mail or do much of anything for several days now. Don't ask me why but March has always been a very hard month for me and depression always sets in to some degree, this year it has been more than the past few but I think I am on the up side of things now, will just have to wait it out and see. Anyway I just deleted over 2000 posts because I got depressed at just the thoughts of reading them all. If I missed anything major let me know please and one of these days I am going to get to the PO to send those squishies and a gift to someone special. I promise.

So as someone often says here when they have been gone for a bit, mine has been just about 11 days, or maybe I did drop in one or two of those I am not sure, to all those that need prayers, or thoughts, you have mine, to those that have happy dances and UFO's that are now finished projects, congratulations. I have missed you all but just could not bring myself to my computer long enough to read.

I hope I am able to stay a while this time.

Love to all and keep me in your thoughts, please,

Jacqueline in KY

Hugs for you and hope you feel better right away. I know a few people that, for one reason or another, have a hard time with March.

Thanks Debi,

I have no idea why I do but I always have, I was even born in the month of March so you would think it would be an OK month but it is the worse one of the year for me.

I've just been perusing your website and I really like it! I am a sucker for recipes too, even though it seems like I always end up cooking the same old stuff over and over... Nice site!

Hugz for Jacqueline!! I understand completely what you're feeling - it happens to me in January, when the days are short, and all the Christmas hoopla is over. Prayers that you feel better quickly. If you can get some sunshine, do that!! It will make you feel better.

Hang in there, Jacqueline! And feel free to whine a bit, we've all been in that boat at one time or another. I too used to suffer from SAD, but since moving to Arizona it is a thing of the past for me. But I do remember that part of the year I came to dread. Luckily (as you already know) it passes.

I have been on depression meds for about 26 years now and cannot go without. I still have a low few weeks in the spring and in the fall for some reason. I also use the light year-round for SAD. It is odd how the body responds to outside stimuli isn't it. At least we know that the fog does lift after a while and we can get on with things, I am glad you are doing better now.

March is a bad month for my husband because he is tired of winter, thinks spring should be here but looks out the window at snow and cold. Spring should be arriving in your part of the world before too long. Just hold on a few more weeks. When do the dogwoods start blooming? When I was a little girl my father planted a dogwood tree for my mother to remind her of her Eastern Tennessee childhood. Of course they never grow this far north but that little tree didn't know the difference. Several times it has "frozen back" but the root doesn't die and the tree comes back stronger than ever. Last year my mother hired a tree man to trim her maple tree that was brushing against the house. When he saw the dogwood he couldn't believe it. He said he has never seen such a large dogwood in western Illinois. Some years the flowers are as large as those of Eastern Tennessee and some years they look more like popcorn.

Glad to see you back.
