bone scan

Apr 04, 2007 23 Replies

I went for my bone scan today and they had to almost repeat it over again with additional pictures. I guess I can tell you now I have an area of increased uptake on a rib-bone... on the left side. My breast cancer last year was the right breast and that was removed. I will keep you posted but the radiologist doctor asked me all kinds of questions about my cancer last year. He wanted to know if I had any positive lymph nodes and I said...yes

3 out of 5 were positive fore cancer. Pami

Pami, my hugs, thoughts and prayers continue to be with you. I wish you the best.

Hugs, Mika

You are in my continued thoughts and prayers, Pami. =20

Hi Pami Haven't noticed you posting a whole lot and was wondering how you were doing. You've had a wonderful outlook thru all this, and since we all know it could be us next, I think of you as someone to model if it is ever my turn. I hope you take time to rant and rave at fate a bit to relieve some of the anger and frustration, but I'm sure your positive outlook has helped to get you thru.

All the best with prayers and hugs

I'm really sorry you now have this extra worry, after all you have been through, Pami. I hope your wait isn't over long; and that, when you do hear, the result is better than you fear. {{{{Pami}}}} . In message , Pami writes

Prayers starting right away, but don't be alarmed yet dear. Please relax and take comfort, and do keep us posted. We are always here.

Pami,

You have been such an inspiration to me. I hate to get my mammogram and admit that I am not good at doing it every year, but you inspired me to go on and make my appointment when you first came back to the group, it is for next week and I can't wait to get it over with, but even more glad that you inspired me to have it this year.

I will keep you in both my thoughts and prayers, although you are there almost constantly. You know it is strange, when you got sick I did not even belong to the group, we have not emailed or anything but I just felt this connection and am so happy I did.
