Spoke to oncologist who went down to look at my films....my doctor wants me to get a mammogram of that breast (the remaining real one) ....he thinks it might not be bone cancer but the left breast might be affected in someway showing up on the scan looking like a cancer....I can deal with this better than thinking the cancer has spread. I'm off to make an appointment for my mammo...

Your positive outlook is inspiring, Pami. Hopefully, more detailed tests will reveal calcifications or something like that. Prayers on the go. But, you must be getting heartily sick of the inside of hospitals and doctors' offices >g< . In message , Pami writes

Pami,

When I had my last mamo, they did it twice on the right breast, then send me across the hall for two sonograms of the left right (first the regular technician did it, then sent out for the 'top' technician to do it). Needless to say, I was sweating bullets the entire time....fortunately, the verdict was 'dense breast tissue.' 3 months later, they did the same thing, with the same results (no change)....and

6 months later, the mamo was fine and the dense tissue had gone (they mentioned something about menopause and hormones....) The last one was also OK.

Sincerely hope the 'odd stuff' they found in yours turns out to be something similar....I will keep my fingers and toes crossed that it is.
