or will it unravel?
I would 'think' that it would unravel, but I've never tried with acrylic. MAYbe if it's knit super tight, but I doubt it. JM2c N.

I have Zigzaged all kinds of materials ,,, use a double Zigzaging [ the kind that has 3 -4 steps , than you might make a french seam ... mirjam

YES you can! Do as Mirjam says! I use to sew twice with 3 sts zigzag, small stitch length! (....and you don't cut untill that is done! Pretend you have such a seam in your knitting while working: if you lost a stitch, it would not ravel too long... :-) I have not used acrylic yarns too much, but you know we in Norway "love" steeking, I have done it to noumerous sweaters and cardigans made in different yarns and "yarn blends", and I am quite sure this will work perfect! AUD ;-)
