Katherine, Thanks for the welcome. I may be going to the open house the yarn shop gal is having today at the community center. It will be nice to meet some local knitters. I didn't know there were any. Funny how they crawl out of the woodwork when you get interested. :) Susie

Hi Nora, I had a blast. :) She showed me how to cast on and how to knit then she said "let's start a hat". I can't believe I'm doing a hat. Whew. It was fun. I'm a half hour from the Canadian border and two hours from Vermont. :) Nice to meet you, Susie
