I've been working on a baby blanket for my niece. My brother's wife is now pregnant longer than she was with the first baby, which is a small miracle in itself. (The first baby was such a preemie I chewed my brother out for not giving me a chance to finish the baby quilt!) Last time, I made a label for the back using a picture of the sweet one, and her birthdate and statistics printed onto fabric.
This time, I'm knitting a sweet blanket. I'm 70 rows short of finishing, and I'd like to find a poem to print onto a label I can stitch to the back.
Does anyone know of any such poems?
This one is for a quilt, but doesn't work for an afghan:
