Lion Brand re Martha's Poncho

Okay people. I wrote Lion Brand earlier today asking them about what they intended to do about acknowledging the woman who made it for Martha, and that there was the potential for bad publicity depending on how they handled the situation. Following is the reply I received just now, and I think it speaks for itself. "Hi Shelagh, We are trying hard to work through the prison system both to donate yarn for prisoners to use and to reward Martha's friend who did the orignal poncho. As you may understand, this information is not something that would necessarily be publicly available, but we appreciate your concern and interest. If we can get permission to publish the name of the original designer, we will do so. In the interim, we are working to meet the needs of the Lion Brand community and to offer our version of this pattern -- both in crochet and knit. Welcome to the group Jean, we say in Dutch.....You fell with your nose in the butter, Martha Stewart butter that is.......LOL We do share lots of other topics though, some knitting, crocheting, braiding and hugs as well, where needed. We do laugh a lot and tend to visit, all over the world, having a coffee or glass of wine while knitting and ripping
