Wooly spun a FINE 'yarn' n news: snipped-for-privacy@4ax.com:

. Hmmm... went and looked, but I guess you have to be a sign-in-able 'member' to sign up for the giveaway, as there was *zilch* to be found as a browsing consumer... Noreen

Heh, when I load joann.com I get a homepage with a big "sweepstakes" thing front and center. Click that and it ought to ask for your info

- no need to have a pre-existing joann.com account.

Nope, you just click on the Yarn Package Giveaway link and it takes you to a form to fill in for entry. I'm not an online member, mostly shopping at the store as it's right near where I work.

Hmm. I don't get that kind of screen at ALL, Wooly. Wait, let me try a different browser... IE sucks for that, with not showing a lot of things.. Noreen

I got it immediately with IE. Something else was the problem.

Hi Wooly,

Thanks, I just entered. It took a little time to load, but once there it was fine.

Hi Sue,

Question is your store doing away with counted cross stitch kits? One of our local stores is, said they are going to carry more yarn as that's what is popular now.

Hugs,

Nora

I quit using IE months ago and my computer is so much better with mozilla. I get no popups and virtually no spyware. Sometimes my DD uses IE for a certain Disney game, and my computer is loaded with spyware and registry changes.I will never go back to IE for a regular browser again.

We switched to the mozilla email program as well as the browser!
