More sock help

Hello friends,

I saw more post about socks and thought I would repost the two previous posts.

url above is a very simple sock formula and the one I use in my head all the time. I never use a patter any more for a simple one color sock with not special patterns. I hope some one can use these three pages.

Hugs & God bless, Dennis

P. S.

Do I give feminine or masculine hugs? :) ;)

Well, Dennis, I se just now that MY little part of "the pond" is grey and rainy.

Just accross the sea here, lies one of the "older" Hurtigruter (ship, travelling along the coast from Bergen to Kirkenes, passing North Cape) named LYNGEN (she is "pensioned", but is used if they need her!

former name was Midnatsol, but now there is a new Midnatsol

)Lyngen lies here to be repaired, and because I used to go with her when I was young, and went to school in the North part og the country, I feel I have visit by an old friend. In the evening when all lights are on, she is "greeting me"!! If you like a trip, just do it here

's just 6 in the morning here, DH left early for a tour to St. Petrersburg.(Work), and I checked the PC to see if there were anything from DD who is in Brazil just now. And there she was! at MSN, I could chat with her! She was ready to go to bed, later than normally, and I had an early morning, much earlier than normal.

When she was 17yo she was exchange student in Bolivia, we waited 6 weeks for the first letter to reach us. Now we can "speek" directly by PC!

I have had a bad cold this Easter, lying in bed much of the time.Today the holiday is over, work starts, and I wake up recoverd and "new", lucky me! Now I'll take a shower and a cup of coffee, and may be finish "Jaywalker sock number one" ! LOL! Take care, send my hugs to Gail!! Aud ;-)

My DH has always wanted to take a trip on one of these ships up along the coast of Norway. (Two of his great grandparents came from Norway in the middle of the

19th C with their families and met in a little farming town in the US which had many Norwegian immigrants) I will send him the link so that he can see the pictures. Maybe when he doesn't have quite so many other places he has to go we can do it. I don't want to wait too long, though, as it is most fun to travel while still able to get around easily. Friends of ours have taken these boats and loved the experience.

Gail yells hello Aud.

I will have to send a pic of what she did with the flower pics you sent her. Gail is a craftaholic also, like me.

Well, good luck at work. Hope all gets better.

Hugs & God bless, Dennis & Gail

Judy, I have been on them twice and they are at the top of my list of favorite travel experiences. One of the pluses is that you can get senior and AARP discounts.

IF any of you EVER go with it, tell me, because the ship lies here in our town for several hours, and I would LOVE to see how many socks you have knitted on the tour! LOL!

IF I heard you have been here, while I was going to the grocery shop or something boaring, I would be very sad.... :-( Welcome! AUD :-)

Canadian Association of Retired Persons (or People) = CARP American Association of " " = AARP

These associations provide information on retirement, pensions, can get us discounts on hotels, rental cars, etc. They often lobby the governments to improve the situations of retirees. The Canadian association publishes a magazine, and I'm sure the American one does as well.
