Mostly OT, 'some' "on".... {longish}

Hi gang! I WAS feeling about 75% better (flu) until about an hour ago... and all of a sudden, I'm feeling totally rotten again, sure hope I'm not relapsing! Lots of things going on behind the scenes, my main blog @

is now a wordpress rather than a movabletype blog, and because of this change, atom and rss feeds have changed, so a lot of subscribers don't know I've BEEN updating!I've got a neat article reprinted with Clara Parke's full permission (Knitter's Review) that some of you might find interesting!Other stuff, I made a hairpin lace baby afghan for Jacey, it was QUITE gorgeous, but when I washed it, it BROKE! NOT unraveled, broke! Unfixable. I was unconsolable, and MAD. I promptly cut it up in a gadzillion pieces. (my mom laughed and said she'd've done the same!)I've just finished a cap/hat for Jacey, it's drying now, so will post pix (I hope) before we send our next box out.Don wants me to make Jacey an ORANGE and WHITE (TN Vols) cap/hat too, so I'm eyeing stash, and 'thinking' about it.My NYCO is currently woefully on ignore status.Happy Birthday to any I've missed!Happy Anniversary to any I've missed!Welcome home to anyone who's been traveling!Have a SAFE one to anyone who's gone traveling and I missed their departure!Congrats to anyone with good things going on.Prayers, thoughts, vibes to anyone who's needing them!waving buh-bye for now.... gotta take some medicine and REST!Hugs, Noreen

Evidently the yarn was 'old' 'damaged' and it just broke! Mom says she's seen acrylics to this before...... I was PO'd beyond belief, but cannot say anything more as the yarn was a gift from an rcty-er.... Hugs, Noreen
