When i started translating all these documents i added it to the pile with Historical evidence documemts... I also have some published books, which have details like that ,, it is fantastic stuff .. esp as i have not much info , every bit counts ... mirjam

Well, I am an Archivist with a B.A. degree in History and Anthropology, so *I* think it's pretty darn interesting!!!

In all fairness, though, History is often so poorly taught in schools that people become totally turned-off from the subject. I had a U.S. History teacher who destroyed my interest in my own country's history. The man was a football coach/teacher and was extremely IGNORANT and didn't like that a skinny little girl knew more than he did! :-(

I think your project is GREAT, Mirjam! I wish I could read Dutch but I think it is too far from English and Swedish for me to understand very much.

I am proud that you have the nerve to do that to her. I sometimes think it would be nice to do to a relative but have never done it.

If your mom doesn't appreciate the work you do then don't send her any of it.

I think you do wonderful work.

Some years ago there were small statuettes made out of cast coal dust for sale in the gift shops. They might work for people who want to be subtle.
