On 't' and OT (knitting and groaning)

Unfortunately, this is true. In fact, even hitting them over the head with a shovelful of coal doesn't work on them.

Of course, we are joking, aren't we? No one here would ever do something like that.

OPHELIA , you just said the most realistic saying ,,, As i mentioned before i stopped making things for those kind , and i can add now a new rule , if i intend making something for somebody i ASK staright away if it is acceptable , this rule has saved me hours of work , and lots of heart pain..... The WORST kind are those wsho ASK for a handmade present and than Are either angry for getting it or CUT it up ,, i have had that experience with a person . She Asked /asked and asked that i make her a certain sweater , i asked time and again if she really wanted it THAT WAY , as her request was based on trying on mine. I gave it to her only later to get it thrown into my face that she cut the front ,,,,i was insulted to the bottom of my heart, and proffesional making . mirjam

Achhh people like that deserve nothing, not even your friendship!!! They are certainly not worth being hurt for, because they have no finer feelings. Indeed, coal is all they deserve!

Save your fine work for friends who appreciate all the work, but moreso, the friend who made it!

I must say this story of the satatuette that will fall apart made me think some of those presents to the non appreciative , could be made from Disolving threads :>:>:>: but it still would be a waste of our time ,.... so maybe a Hologramic present is the answer ?????? i wonder , mirjam
