Ready to frog

May 30, 2005 9 Replies

I seriously messed up my swatching and my Cathode Jumper from Knitty.com isn't going to fit at all.

But if anyone's interested, I took a picture of it to remember my first attempt at a jumper knitted on DPNs and a circular needle before I frog it.

I thought about finishing it and selling it on ebay, but the copyright is owned by someone else.

It's a shame isn't it?

Yes Sarah! It IS!!!!!!! AUD ;-))

Hi Sarah,

Oh, that is terrible after all that hard work. Now, why couldn't you sell it on ebay. You sweater isn't copyrighted, only the pattern isn't it?

Hugs,

Nora

So will you try it again someday?

I'm calling it a learning experience. It's my first attempt at a jumper on circular needles, so I now know that I can do it, so some good has come out of it.

Sarah

I do hope so. Maybe when I have the right size needles and the yarn they suggest instead of trying to fudge it with my own yarn and swatches.

Sarah

Yes I thought so too, the sweater is yours now, and I would think that you could sell it, as just one item. I think if your were going to sell twenty of them....LOL...god forbid with all that frogging going on, that you would have problems with the copy right. When you buy a pattern, the item you make is yours, and you can do what you like with it, including selling it.

Good! Next time it will be better.
