Thank you to someone

I am so embarrassed that I can't remember who it was who included a purple hat in one of my square exchanges. I thanked you at the time, and asked if the pattern was on the net. You replied that it was, and you sent me the URL. I saw that it was crocheted, and decided to tuck it away safely, as I don't crochet. Anyhow, I had a few free minutes today, and decided to give it a try. Well, I can't believe how easy it was! I did two of them, one in pink and the other in a kind of cream colour. Kandace loves them both. And I wanted to let you know, and pass on thanks from both of us.

Hi Katherine

formatting link
think it was me - I had tried many crochet hat patterns before, but this was the first that ended up looking like a hat and was actually wearable. I've made a few since then. I'm glad you like the pattern! Best wishes

Very nice! I will save this one and give it a try. I love having little projects ready for when I'm in the mood.

This is the first crochet - other than granny squares - that I have ever done. I am quite proud of myself! And it's all down to you!

Funnily enough, it was also MY first completed project! The one I sent you was the first one I'd ever made - I was so pleased with it that I just had to share it with someone!

This message has really made my day - thanks, Katherine!

This looks like a great project for beginners. I planned to teach two

14 year old girls to crochet while we are at the lake cabin this summer and this looks like just the thing. It helps to have something that they would like to have when it is done.

Hi Katherine & Liz,

Oh, I love it too and it's printing out right now and I've saved the website to explore it more later. I've never made a crochet hat before, just knit so it will be fun to try.

Now Katherine, if you did this, just think of all the other stuff you can crochet.

Hugs,

Nora

LOL Kandace has already ordered a hat in every colour so that she can "match".

I have printed out the pattern, but since I am not much of a crocheter, I will have to sit with someone to get a helping hand, with all the terms etc. They are a bit different in Dutch. I will get there, and will use the butterfly cottons for trials..

Thanks everyone

Els, I am not a crocheter at all, and I am halfway through my third hat! Easy, like you would not believe!
