Yes Katherine, not only is there a lot of work in the organizing of a trip like that, but also a huge responsibility to look after kids that are not kids anymore, but neither adulds either. Sort of floating in between. I bet though that you will also enjoy their wonder of getting to learn about other countries, and try out another languages
Enjoy and have fun, and tell us all about it when you come back.

As long as the kids have fun and make good memories, I'll be happy.

Thanks, Gwen. I am really looking forward to it. There has been a lot of fund raising, but now that is over, and we can look forward to next week.

I am sure they will have a great time - I hope you are able to enjoy it as well. My GDG#1 is going to Spain this week with a school group (3rd year Spanish students) and is really excited. I got an e-mail from her yesterday and she can barely wait until Friday afternoon. I am grateful to the adults who are willing to take her (and her friends) as I am certain that it will be a great experience for her.
I hope that she enjoyes herself as much as my kids are planning to!

Higs, Kather> It's so nice that high school students are able to go abroad. My son
