Really, though, it seems like ALL the lists, yahoogroups, smartgroups, delphi forums, etc. are all pitifully (smack, is that even a word?) 'quiet'....

Maybe the time of year -- we are having one of those rare weekends when it is not 98 degrees and it is not raining, and there are no tornadoes being spawned. In fact, I'm not sure why I'm inside right now!

It's probably do to the long 4th of July weekend and vacation time of year. I'm here everyday when weather permits.

Yes, pitifully is a word! ;o) And yes, I noticed it more quiet than normal, but I just chalked it up to the long weekend and nice weather.
Gem {{shivering}} I just came in from the pool where the boys are working on putting the new skimmer and pump on now. I had been *in* the pool thinking I might help when it came time to attach the skimmer to the side... but they ran into a few hitches (the holes on the actual skimmer had to be manually threaded as the screws wouldn't go in... and they had to *carefully* dig up the hose from the skimmer to the pump to fit the new skimmer against the pool properly) that I was in the pool for much longer than I had planned on. So now my fingers and toes are pruned and I have goosebumps on top of goosebumps, and my teeth were chattering... Matthew finally said "Get out of the pool and go in the house. We'll manage with the skimmer on our own."
It's summer time! :)
